LA-BÒ Milano was born from the meeting between the creative project of Elena Riva and Fulvia Bleu and their shared vision of responsible design. Founders of Visualmade, a design studioactive in the creation of visual identities since 2008 with a specific focus on sustaina-bility, they shaped LA-BÒ as a natural evolution of their journey. LA-BÒ is an upcyclingproject that transforms leather into a new idea of shopping bag, starting from the recoveryof surplus stock from Italian tanneries. Leather, an intrinsically “circular” material,through an essential and functional design becomes the foundation of an object conceived tolast over time. Each bag is handcrafted in Italy, within a short and local supply chain thatvalues artisanal know-how. LA-BÒ moves beyond the logic of disposability, giving shape toa circular shopping bag, essential in form and glamorous in presence, capable of blendingethics and aesthetics into a single vision.
